i'll stick to my 525$ machine that runs TF 2 at max settings at 200 + fps, and Crysis at near 60.

My laptop won't run TF2. It just freezes up when I try to join. But I can play other games (CSS, LFD, etc) fine so I don't really know what the problem is but I kind of gave up trying.

Try this and it will tell you what is wrong.

It passes:

Maybe it's my video card?

I can install and open the game just fine but as soon as I join a server, my framerates drop so low it's like watching a slide show and sometimes it just crashes out as soon I attempt to move.

Not that I'm too concerned with playing on my laptop since I have an awesome desktop for gaming; I'm just curious as to what the problem is and if there is anything I can do about it.
