Hello, I'm sure many if not all of you know me, I'm Falcon. I've been playing on the SourceOP 24/7 2fort server for about 9 years, give or take. I would like to apply for the position of server admin/moderator. I believe I have put in enough hours, and frequent the server enough, to warrant the opportunity to apply. I believe most of the server regulars would back my application, as we all have a similar goal in mind. Keeping our favorite server clean, and hacker free. The server deserves a more permanent administrator presence, and I believe I could offer that.
Please contact me ASAP regarding the method I should follow for applying. Thank you for your time.

SOP has always hand picked admins who demonstrate certain qualities. As said in my PM to you, its not just about banning a hacker here or there, but understanding that you need community engagement (something you have not demonstrated yet imo). Furthermore, when I see regulars like you on and an issue arises in the server, I dont see you attempt to correct it. This has me personally believe you would just admin it how you see fit based on how it affects your play, not protect everyone on the server and dish out the rules as they are no matter personal opinion on the rule(s) or how many hours they have on server (including protecting new users from long time regulars in many cases) or if you are friends with said user(s).
If you still think you want to go for admin, lets see it.
Sidenote, Rules are agreed to by admins based on feedback from players here on the forums and our (admins) own observations in server, then passed to head server admins/owners for final OK, this process can take months.
Thanks.

My concern above happened this evening when you were discussing capping/not capping with other users on the server and one named emu told others not to cap, you replied to him but did not correct him in following proper rules.
I am declining to support you. Other admins may still feel different.
Thanks.

Butane your assessment of Falcon is 100% correct. I've played with Falcon on many occasions and to little surprise, he only enforces rules when they serve to benefit him. If he were to be granted admin/mod status he would only carry out his duties following his own agenda and not that of the SourceOP community. He is very liberal with his hackusactions and sees no problem with flaming others who he believes to be cheaters, proof lacking. Your declination of support towards Falcon is one of the most high IQ decisions I've ever witnessed. Godspeed.
