Hello,
I've been a fairly regular player on your TF2 Pro Rotation server; I enjoy it a lot! My network has an unusual problem where the first time I connect to something however, it's entirely possible my connection will 'die' within seconds; I have to reconnect to whatever it was to get it to stick. Okay, no problem; that means on your servers I get the "Connection Problem, automatic disconnect in 25 seconds" notice, so I hit the Console button, type Retry, and that's fine; I'm back in play 10-15 seconds later.
Today this happened at a very unfortunate time; the very moment I joined a team, I was autobalanced to the other one. Thinking nothing of it, I hit Retry, then am told I was banned for 'circumventing autobalance.'
...I can certainly see why it looks that way, and I don't contest the order of events (I got autobalanced, 'disconnected' due to network issues, immediately came back), but I assure you I had no malicious intent; if I could solve this issue, I would. The autoban system obviously can't be expected to differentiate between my legitimate networking problem and autobalance circumvention, but that is the cause of my post here.
I would like to ask that the SourceOP admins please review and remove the following ban: http://sourceop.com/modules.php?name=SOP...s&id=16163
Or if it has already been auto-removed, I ask that the admin please keep my issue in mind for future incidents.
Thank you for your time, and for running one of my favorite servers! This little speedbump aside, I have greatly enjoyed playing TF2 on your pro rotation setup.
