How vista uses ram.
#1

Really. I have had up to 12-gigs of ram in this computer (Yay READYBOOST Flash drives) and vista takes about 46% of it. WHAT IN THE HELL DOES VISTA DO WITH 6 GIGS OF RAM!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!???????!!!???!?!?!????!

I think I found out. Today I got back from school and found this:

You saw it here first, A horrific flood of websites that can only be described as a 4chan waterfall.

I suspect that it does this in the background and brings it to the front when I am not around.

Vista users now know where their ram is going

Vista is probably using all that RAM for cache. Linux does the same thing. It will allocate almost all available RAM for caching and then free it up as other things need it. No sense in letting that RAM go to waste.

It'll free it up when other applications need it.

Also, why do you quote posts when the post you are quoting is right above your reply. It's really annoying.
