You print out the ticket at home, thats how my siblings and friends have all had to do it.

I bought tickets and Orbitz changed the times on me 3 times to insane off hour times.
Don't know why, maybe because it was too far ahead and routes got canceled, but it sucked.

I've never had any negative experiences buying plane tickets online. The only thing that is tough is that sometimes you can't sit with your people.

I bought mine over to California off Priceline and had no issues with it whatsoever.

My experience has been that you don't need to print anything at all, just show up at a kiosk in the airport when you arrive and print a boarding pass (you will need a confirmation # of course). Check your luggage and go.

Many years ago when I was in the Navy I flew a lot. I did all my buying from online and I never had a bad experience.
As a matter o' fact I had my tickets upgraded from coach to first class for free three or four times. I assume this is because I never chose a specific time or how many stops it would make. I took any flight, if it was at 3 in the morning and had five stops. I was treated well.
As for printing out a ticket, I never had to do that. Inside the airport they will either print it out for you at the counter or there's a terminal for online tickets where you print it out. The check out people will let you know.
