Help with PayPal
#1

So I have set-up an account and want to start selling my items but I'm unsure of how it works. I know that I have to be gifted the money but I don't know how it will be displayed on the PayPal page once the transaction has been made.

I would appreciate the help of anyone who can use a screenshot to explain me exactly how it works.

Thanks in advance Big Grin

The have been a couple PayPal threads already. Perhaps one of them will answer any other questions:

When you receive money, you should receive an email about it and the transaction should show on the account overview page.

Thanks for those.

It's still unclear to me how I will know that it's a "gift" transaction or another kind of them, if anyone can provide a screenshot of how it is displayed it would be awesome.

If it was a gift transaction, there will be no Paypal fees and you will receive the full amount. I believe it also shows as a gift transaction on the account overview page, but I am not sure.

Not sure if you need this, but I'm pretty sure if you got gifted, it would say "Payment Type : Instant" or something like that in the "Details" tab of your transaction.

Link I found awhile ago when I started first trading. Shows the difference between a non gift payment and a gift payment.
