LMAO, yea it's pretty ridiculous anymore. I live in Southern L.A. and it's about the same here as where u live Drunken. I've seen in some neighboring towns as of late it being 4.89 to 4.95. They also say on the news it's nowhere near going down, i remember for the longest too about them saying when is the gas gonna go down, etc. etc. giving estimated guesses when it actually was......but now it's clear it's not until we reach 8 friggin dollars per gallon are we gonna see hella protests everywhere.
The government made it this way though, they didn't realize for some odd reason that allowing the gas companies monopolise the market isn't fair as gas IS a NEEDED material to LIVE. But then again who do you think Exxon is paying behind the scenes anywayz
