This revamp seems awfully convoluted to me. (it's almost as if a twelve-year old thought up of it- "wouldn't it be cool if 2Fort had...")

I think some of the ideas are on the right track but this might be too much and some of it looks half-assed.

The problem I have seen with trying to replicate valve maps is that the original maps are like 60-100 megs and people don't like to compile things.

its just too heavy handed, he hates turtling so very much that he tries to destroy it completely though its still a valid tactic. Perhaps one or two of his ideas could be fun and give a bit more variety. Problem is him giving so many entry and escape points as well as beating the engineer class senseless with the hate he shows it leaves the whole map as a scout rush.

We all really know the best strategy on 2fort is slow motion boxing heavy anyway.
