Because Duke Nukem Forever wasn't just an awful game. It was an awful game that also shit on a bunch of other good ones. And it is a prime example of everything that is wrong with modern day fps's.

It would seem like you do not approve of the ungentlemanly, dirty humor which the Duke is known to provide with its smeary, smelly stains of feces splatting up all over the names of excellent games such as Halo and Dead Space.

I still liked it though, but my humor is that of an immature kid's (which I do not care the slightest for, since it is my humor).
IMO, it is a good game even with its modern failures and flaws, though it would also be excellent to see Modern Warfare 3 flop (although the console kids will let the series continue for many, many years). "Pay for 70% of a game, then DLCs that make up for the other 30%!", ick.
