Adminop is dead...
Natural selection is dieing...
Source op was never really alive in the first place...

I was gone for 3 days, came back hoping that i didnt miss out on anything big, and guess how many posts there were when i got back, ZERO, NONE WHATSOEVER. so i thought i might go play Natural Selection and have some fun there, but guess how many servers there were: 41!!!!! HOW IN THE HELL CAN YOU CALL THAT AN INTERNET COMMUNITY, FOURTY FREAKING ONE SERVERS!!!!

and there are only about 6 good adminop servers left, i cant run mine anymore, im permanently stuck behind a router now.

so everything that i do is dieing. EVERYTHING!!!!!

and do you know who i blame? EVERYBODY! all of the noobs that thought adminop was SOO COOL back in the WAN days, Valve for cramming steam down our throats and taking Dark Fox away from us (damnit Fox, where did you go!?) all of the admins of TFC that let their servers die and put their own royal perogative in front of the good of the community. Steam employees for being such assholes, DrunkenF00l for only working on Sourceop every 2 geological ages, Myself for not helping out enough and putting my skills to good enough use on the forums and on SourceOP...

SO one of three things will happen:

1. This post pisses off the admins and i get removed from the forums
2. I just stop posting
3. Something happens to revive SourceOp and i get to happily delete this post.


NOTE THAT THIS IS AN OLD POST, SOURCEOP NEVER DIED OR ATTEMPTED TO DIE, I WROTE THIS DURRING A SLOW TIME, (num.3 has occured but this thread is staying up to insignify somethin or some shit like that)

Fortress Forever is a remake of TFC for HL2, which sourceop is planning to move to when/if it ever gets released. AND SourceOP isn't dead, its just kind of in idle mode. Since DF is the sole coder it is hard to code stuff around school and work. I"ll try and get DF to post something though about it.

Team Fortress Classic... its a half-life one mod... buy it...

Fortress Forever is virtually Team Fortress:Source, but since they arent making Team Fortress source, somebody took the initiative to make their own.

and by not making it i mean that they are making Team Fortress 2 instead of Team Fortress Source (difference being gameplay enchancements and new classes, but that isnt going to be out for a few years, i hear that they are making Opposing Forceource/2 first, then they are either making TF2 or Ricochet2/source... but thats all up in the air, and nobody plays ricochet, so its pointless to make it with better graphics, with its wolfenstein style aiming system and all)

and do you know what... apperantly im incapable of leaving... and of deleteing posts after people reply to them, so bleh...

How are you permanetly stuck behind a router? Aren't most of us? Have you programmed your router with your servers IP and ports, allowing you to host your server?

By your statement about being stuck behind a router, it seems you think you cannot host a server which is not true. I may be off base here, just wondering what you meant.

hey titan i heard u were made a new admin on the AN server ..........thats great an all but dammit ret shud hav told u 2 apply 2 the clan 1st..........dammit its kind of dumb to hav a server admin who isnt evne in the fuking server clan........grrrr and ret keeps making random ppl admin......we hav like 5 admins..................pleez titanpower i want u 2 b an admin of our server becuz u hav alot of experience wit sourceop mod but u need 2 send me a clan app.....ull find the clan apps at our official clan website freewebs.com/zennering pleez do this asap............dammit am the only serious admin on my server@#$%^&*? :evil: :evil: :evil:

Admins on Sourceop aren't allowed/supposed to be in clans.
