DAF Left 4 dead 2 version?
#1

Hi all,

Is there any reason why the DAF plugin doesn't work on L4D(2)?

All I get is this, no reason is given:

Failed to load plugin "addons/daf/bin/dosattackfix"

I tried both TF2 and CSS3 version. How can I make this work? I really need it.

Thanks in advance!

Ah I can see the error message now:

failed to dlopen /usr/local/games/left4dead2/835407/x.x.x.x:27015/left4dead2/update/../left4dead2/addons/daf/bin/dosattackfix_i486.so error=/usr/local/games/left4dead2/835407/x.x.x.x:27015/left4dead2/update/../left4dead2/addons/daf/bin/dosattackfix_i486.so: undefined symbol: _ZN17ConCommandBaseMgr11OneTimeInitEP23IConCommandBaseAccessor

Thanks for your fast reply! I tried it but it gives me a different error:

Code:
failed to dlopen /home/l4duser2/l4d/bin/../left4dead/addons/daf/bin/dosattackfix_i486.so error=/home/l4duser2/l4d/bin/../left4dead/addons/daf/bin/dosattackfix_i486.so: undefined symbol: _Unwind_Resume
failed to dlopen /home/l4duser2/l4d/bin/../left4dead/addons/daf/bin/dosattackfix_i486.so error=/home/l4duser2/l4d/bin/../left4dead/addons/daf/bin/dosattackfix_i486.so: undefined symbol: _Unwind_Resume
Unable to load plugin "..\left4dead\addons\daf\bin\dosattackfix"

Any idea?

Thanks again!

Before you were trying to get it to work with L4D2, now with L4D. They will be different and I don't know that I have one that will definitely work with either.

In my last reply I meant that it's possible that the old TF2 version will work for L4D2, but I don't know about L4D1.

Ok i figured it wouldn't matter Tongue It was more like a coincidence that my L4D server was empty so I tested it on that one.

I will test it on L4D2, thanks.
