Valve and Hidden Path

Most articles seem to imply that this will not be an engine overhaul, just some tweeks here and there.

I've heard it's going to support cross platform play between consoles and PCs, in which case the game will be complete shit

Yeah, cross platform play is advertised in the trailer. I really don't think it'll be that bad though, it'll most likely just end up as the majority of servers not supporting cross-platform.

Anyway, it'll be kind of fun to show the complete dominance of keyboard + mouse over console controllers. Big Grin

when it said cross platform I know it meant that! That actually sounds pretty cool, but it could also be shit./.

A new CS game eh? Perhaps I'll use that instead of BF3 to replace Team Fortress.

Cross-platform could also simply mean PC and Mac.

I hope that's the case. Although it seems weird to call that "cross-platform," since they're both personal computers

Thats probably it, but it would be kinda cool if it was all platforms including consoles. I want to see how it would turn out.
