Why in the world is he still allowed on the server?? I have no problem with good snipers but this is a known cheater. SourceOP identifies him as a cheater yet he continues to play on our beloved server.
What in the world is going on DF? Someone help me out here b/c I'm seriously missing something.

The list of cheaters you are referring to are those known to be cheating/manipulating HLstats, not actually hacking/cheating the game. They are prohibited from earning rank and position within the server stats.

You don't "hack" it. But there used to be things you could do in-game to exploit the system to get points without even having to kill anyone. And no, I'm not going to say how. lol
Someone took notice, reported him and DF marked him as a "cheater" on hlstatsx for exploiting. Problem solved.

hurr durr, i'm going to be an engineer and build buildings until i get 400k points...that's only what, 200k sentries? or even better, 100k of sentries and dispensers!
points don't really indicate much other than playtime...
kpd can lie (think those guys who have 7 kills and no deaths at the end of each round, because they never take risks)
win % can lie because of team stacking
really the most useful thing hlstats shows is the distribution of kills over weapons....so for instance, i have some stupid number of kills using a rocket. thus, you can figure out the proportion of kills w/ rocket to my playtime, and compare that to other folks, to determine whether my "average" (for lack of any word) skill level is higher or lower than theirs.
but that's a lot of work. wieks is just better than me, i'll live w/ that.
