Ok first, I have no clue what this is. I can throw out a guess and say it is because I may have been switching classes back and forth to much, but then again I am not entirely sure. Secondly, I have been playing on the valve maps no mods server for most of the afternoon, and we got to TF_Turbine. Well I went scout first to do a flag rush and then stayed a scout for a bit after that. Well I honestly suck at being a scout so I switched to a pyro for a bit after that. Then after playing the pyro for like 15 minutes or so I went back to the scout because we did not have a single scout on the team at that moment and needed one for a possible cap. Then after we got pushed back into our base I went to demoman to help try to clear out some of the like 5 sentries outside in the middle of the map. Then, after most of them were clear I went back to a scout and that is when I got ban hammered for a full 7 days. Now, I understand that maybe I did switch classes a bit much. And I will be the first to tell you I am not a world class expert player here, so I like to move from class to class a bit to help to hone my skills on all the classes equally, however a freakin 7 day ban for moving classes to much is entirely overkill, and on top of that, no warning was given, I have searched this site and found no warning of that action being a bannable offense, nor did the welcome poster for the server in game say anything about class jumping being bannable. Drunken, I really like your server, infact it is the only server I play on TF2, and I was seriously considering just donating so I can stop being kicked for being the low man on the totem pole, because like I said I am no Half Duplex. But honestly Drunken, 7 days for this is to much, and with no warning at that. I was not exploiting anything, or cheating at all. Can you review this action please? Get back to me asap? The autoban code is actually flawed, I will tell DF to check this thread as soon as possible.

Yes, it's supposed to ban people who change class 10 times in a second. It's broken. I've removed it until I figure out what breaks it.

Ok thats what I thought, he brought the server down today to update the server entirely, my guess is he has the auto banner for this code probably set to high or to tight. I can understand it if what I thought was the reason actually is the reason, but you need to look at the ban list, its getting full fast, and this wont be good for his sever as he will loose people that play it often for being banned like this. So yeah, I appreciate you getting him invovled quickly. Thanks Hell-Met, and BTW, I have cursed your name SO many times when you dominate/pwn me lol. Your pwnage almost ticks me off as much as duplex's does.

It's fixed and the fixed version is running now. It was banning people for changing class 10 times in a map, not 10 times in one second.

sometimes i change class 2 or 3 times before i even respawn because i just cant make up my mind. That would have ruined me!
