Was on the Valve Maps #1 server a bit ago and was banned for a "racist" spray by Womb Raider. Although he warned about the spiderman spray to the general public, I was unaware that he was an admin and assumed he was just a player who was annoyed by it. Thus, I did not perceive it as an admin warning.

Anyway, in my opinion, I don't perceive the picture as racially offending. It's not intended to be racist. The humor of it comes from spiderman wearing a suit, the quote poking fun at "being fresh". The spray uses the slang version of the n-word. I guess I don't see it as racist because I come from a city where black people are the majority and hear it used as a general term for a person.


I know I've been only banned for a day. All I'm trying to say is that I hope the admins out there don't see this as a first offense. I'm a regular and have been following Drunken F00l's servers since AdminOp days. I'm usually quiet when gaming and never start any trouble. If I was properly aware that Womb Raider was an admin, I would've saw it as a warning and would've removed/changed my spray immediately. Sorry for the inconvenience...

If you break a rule you need a time-out. Racism isn't allowed on the server; humorous or not.

Not trying to sound like a dick, that's just the way it is.

The rules should be followed whether or not there's an admin present.
