TO start off, the mouse only 7 months and is already acting up when playing TF2 so weird. During in a game, the mouse will sometimes freeze and lock for about 2-3 seconds and then I hear the windows usb sound come on indicating that the mouse lost its connection and re-established itself. This can get quite annoying during situations. I'd like to know if anyone else has had this issue?

yes i had this exact problem with my old g500. i had to disassemble the mouse and put the wire little more inside. then after a few months the wire is cut ... sound like a design flaw
I buy a new model g500 for 3 months no problem for now
that a know problem with g5/g500. this and the doubleclick problem (i don't have it longer for now, im happy)

Just stick to the mx500/518/g400 line and you'll be fine.
