I want [V]alve [A]nti [C]heat lifted from the server due to the fact that i was banned for unfair reasons. I don’t want to go out and waste my money on a new copy of HL2, because this is the only server i will play (i usually play Natural selection), and i cant start a decent server of my own (i have cable internet with an 8 megabit download speed, but the upload speed is only about 500 kilobit).So i thought of a win/win situation for the server and the people. i am proposing that we have a separate donation line that we could have that (if we raised enough funds) would take VAC off the server for the rest of a set time period.

this way, the server has more money and the players could be happy. this would also bring more players to the server.

from what i hear there are admins that monitor the server 24/7 (eXXaXion). so that would take care of the occasional hacker.

the only other issue i can think of with this is the amount of money that should be required., I was thinking ~$100 a month.

I appreciate any feedback by admins or supporters

As far as I VAC is concerned, removing VAC from the server probably

won't happen unless you personally donate like a million dollor to my

saving account.

im not buying another copy of hl2, i would rather donate 100$ a month to the server than give steam more money. at least the money that i give wont fund a company that pisses me off.

buying another copy of hl2 would be like paying to go to france, the boat ride would be fun, but then id be in france. france pisses me off.

but if i pirated a boat to france i wouldnt be that pissed off because the ride would have been free... translate that how you want...

you see, your ruining it, i was trying to get the system rolling by having people donate money to a bid counter that only goes up to a set number and reset each month, raking some money, but you could stop making fun of it.

i dont need to have vac removed, i have all of the spare unbanned HL2 accounts that i can crap on (i can crap on about 3 accounts, the other 11 are just redundancies.)

and if i did, why in the hell would i ask people to donate money for me, that would be the most unlokely way of getting something done, i mean, i could flood out my town and get more help from liberals!
