I can make servers, announcements, websites, posts on front page, etc. I want to help but I don't even know what's going on anymore.

as far as the team competitive tournament, once i get a large enough list of willing participants, i will work with you and getthere1time to discuss the specifics. (and anyone else who wants to help us organize)
a posting of the rules, once finalized, somewhere on sourceop webpage would be great. so would an announcement. and a server to do the preseason and finals on? that would be awesome!!

I agree with DF, we need to get rid of OVER 9000 of these threads and have one or two of them.

In the context I assumed that this was referring to the confusion regarding the tournament.

Then I interjected that it might be helpful to delete the mass of unorganized threads in order to clear up said confusion.

too many at once is just going to get too confusing.
take a poll of which one we want to do, both are good ideas.
although my original idea supports the 9v9 better, cuz i wanna see the best of each class duke it out.

What's the big deal if we try to run two? I'm not gonna touch the other tourn.
Once we gauge interest for 6v6, DF, I'll let you know where we need your help. I just want to be sure it isn't a flop first. And thanks for supporting all of this.

Damn straight.
I don't think it's honestly that hard to hold two tournaments at once, we're not imbeciles, we can do two things at the same time.
I figure we should start advertising the 6-man tournament since all the details are pretty much set out. Just ask if anyone is interested, even if you don't have a team yet, to sign up with a few of your friends and see if you can't meet some more people in the forums... or something.

Please dont get me wrong. I dont want to say screw the other tournament or anything to that effect. I would just like to have a game where it's not so exclusive. I think all regulars have the same rights to play as I do.

the team tourney is not going to be exclusive at all! if you just want to try your hand at 6v6 with a LOT of other sourceop players who are also trying it for their first time, then come post your name in the team tourney thread. without a lot more names on that list, we can't determine there's enough interest.
