WombRaider, this isn't just for BunBun so he can differentiate between red and blue or whatever colors. This is for anyone who has colorblindness, so that they can enjoy the game as the rest of us do. Also, if you "can't be brought to give a shit about such an insignificant detail", then why are you even here to waste your time, trying to put down the "fatass uggos and the middle class" ?
On another note, WombRaider, B-Ball MGE?

I'm still sticking by my position. Notice how there is only one of those where red and blue can't be distinguished and it's about the rarest visual disorder on the planet?

True but that doesn't change the fact that....it's a visual disorder.
No harm in implementing an option in-game for players that have this issue. Doesn't affect me so I mean, why not help this guy and others out?
I couldn't care less if the guy was good or bad in this game, never heard of em, and it's completely irrevelant. As long as requests are within reason, I think any effort is better than no effort to address this.
And +rep to Womb. Seriously love the way he posts rofl

There are also monitors that have color calibration that would solve their problem anyway.

Worthy cause and all but until there's a framework built in to the most popular licensed engines out there, it's a use of resources that very few companies would invest in. And for a game like TF2, as old as it is and with as many outstanding technical issues that it has, the negative backlash from the community for Valve to spend time on this instead of fixing X bug or making X hat work in the item schema would be amazing.
Actually the easiest way to get this done would be to make a pyrovision goggle type item with the skin/texture update as it's 'pyroland', and make it an item everyone can vote on as your petition, then they could use, trade for, and otherwise bitch about it.
Also for some reason this is the first thing I thought of:

easy solution is just shoot people who are shooting at u

How this turned into a shit thread I have no idea. I do sympathize with the OP being color blind myself. Nothing will come out of a petition I feel but worth bringing some attention to it.
Valve is aware of the issues. If you go into advanced options in the "HUD" area there is a colorblind mode. So when they coded they did think about it.
Yellow wouldn't come out to well I think on the map but a yellow vs. black would really stand out for me. I think if you looked though some colors may bring you out to much causing balancing issues with game-play.
