I was wondering how you become an admin. I've been playing this game since QW, before it was tf2 and I love playing and hate seeing cheaters. I play a lot with AWO who is awesome. I'm a disabled 53 year old vet (yes 53) and have time on my hands and would like to help out.

Dopp and myself are the defacto COO co-admins. Last time we spoke about a similar topic, we iced it due to some recent game changes that have resulted in boosted server population. (bad timing to add a new admin)

The second point, historically, SOP does not give admin to users who ask like this, sure you can say you would be interested but, its really by invite only based on what we see from regulars on the server and the need for new admins. Some things we look for: knowing and understanding the server rules, following said rules, attempting to remind users of server rules, attempting to contact admins when issues on the server occur. Gauge the risk of a potential staff member (steam account other bans elsewhere, ect..) Edit: and getting to know existing staff.

And finally, being able to take action against a user who may be your best friend or one of the most "popular regulars" on the server, fully aware you WILL get shit for it from EVERYONE, even those who were not on during that time. (many threads in this section you can read for yourself)
