Ban appeal
#1

Hi, a while back I was permanently banned for mic spamming.

As I remember it a mod/admin (presumably Dopp) was speaking to another player(s). I realized the mod had made a mistake in one of the things he said and so I simply let him know that was incorrect. However the mod was not pleased with me correcting him even though I didn't make it impolite and I got banned under "micspam. nerd."

I appreciate your time and I hope you can understand the situation.

Did the admin give you a warning in the form of chat/mic/gag/kick prior to your ban? What exactly did you say and in what manor did you say it? Why did you wait so long to request a review?

Thanks.

As this is over 2 years old, I have no recollection of the events. However, I know I wouldn't ban for someone correcting me, since I'm wrong often and am used to being corrected. And even if I did ban someone for correcting me, and thought it was 'impolite', I wouldnt have listed the ban as micspam, I would have listed it under 'antagonizing admin' per the rules. The fact I added 'nerd' to the end of it also lets me infer that I gave you sufficient warnings and a gag, and you continued whatever you were doing (as I tend to add 'nerd' as a tag to denote those types of incidents).
Further, you didn't deny micspamming in this appeal, nor did you acknowledge the fog of 2 years may have influenced your ability to remember the events.
