amazingly bad...
For those of you who don't know what Hydro is, if you have ever been playing on a map and thought 'God, this map is terrible", chances are it was hydro.
And the fact that is goes to stalemate instead of sudden death makes it even worse.

This fact would blow my face off if TF2 were a cooperative map editor. Unfortunately I tried to actually play in that abortion.

hydro is good because you can get a lot of taunt kills in the "you all lose" stalemates
other than that it's all about engies demoes and pyros

It's not that Hydro is hands-down bad, it's just tragically flawed. The design is good, except it's impossible for any one team to build momentum on anything except the very last control point. always ends in a stalemate which makes for boring gameplay.
Hydro really needs to be reworked. Until that ever happens, it should just be discarded

I don't know if you've actually played Hydro, but sudden death usually ends up in a stalemate. Over half of everyone plays engi/medic/spy and turtles or hides until the round time ends. It's a really boring map.
