the knife I am carrying is a questionable legal item. 2/3 cops I talked to thought It was legal, the third one died from mysterious stab wounds.

Here in the state I live in you can have up to a 3 inch blade.

here it can be up to 16 inches, and then it is a sword.
If it is double sided it is illegal.
If it is a fixed blade you can't conceal it without a permit.
