2fort regular respawn lagging?
#1

I always have a bit of packetloss to deal with that originates on my end, but for the past few days the 2fort regular server seems a bit laggy. Many people were commenting on it when I was playing Sunday afternoon and again Tuesday evening.

Packetloss spikes are longer and more frequent than my usual ones, and I'm not having comparable problems on other Dallas based servers.

Packet loss doesn't originate from your end it occurs on the line provided by the ISP.

I'm just differentiating between server side and individual packetloss. My usual packetloss comes from a variety of factors related to my isp. I'm woefully familiar with where it is usually coming from.

But there is no packet loss server side either because the packet loss doesn't occur at any location but in the distance between the locations.

Quit being an ass with semantics. I don't need a lesson in where packetloss occurs. Yes obviously neither the user's PC nor the server they are playing on drop packets, as one is the originator and the other is the target.

If the DC that hosts the servers has problems with its provider, that could easily (and often does) generate severe packetloss. So, is the DC where this server is hosted having problems? That was obviously my original question before I decided to feed the biggest troll on the forums.

Can you do a tracert to the server's IP address and copy paste that. Also the result of 100 pings could help.

tracert 208.43.8.175
ping -n 100 208.43.8.175
