Hello, I rent a server and I bumped it to 18 players. My server provider cant figure out how to get it to run at 18 players, it always max's out at 16. I see you have got your server running higher than 16 players. Could you please help us figure this out?

command line sample:
-console -pingboost 1 -game hl2mp +ip xx.xx.xx.xx -port 27015 +maxplayers 18 +map dm_lockdown -autoupdate -tickrate 66

dont you just change it in the Source Deticated Server Window then start the server up..

he said he has ftp (server provider)
I believe that means he doesn't have direct access to the
server console.
For now, I can think of these two simple ways to solve the problem.
1. Add this line in the server.cfg
sv_visiblemaxplayers 18 // maxplayers minus reserved slots
2. add +maxplayers 18 in the server console command line
3. if you still can't get it to work, let me know and we'll try
something else.
4. and what is your server's ip address? let me go take a look
