Dear Antosheek,

You have received an infraction at SourceOP Forums.

Reason: Invalid Reputation
-------
read the rules
-------

This infraction is worth 10 point(s) and may result in restricted access until it expires. Serious infractions will never expire.

Original Post:
http://forums.sourceop.com/showthread.php?p=1650422
I sold him 7 TF2 Keys for 9,80€ (1,40 € ea) without fees through PayPal, and he went first.
Trade link: http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/16317...0-(paypal)

I searched what I could, but something is still not clear to me:

a) what was invalid on the post? Everything I think should be there there was, when I compared it to other right reps I gave, they were the same. Why did it happen about 20 days after I posted it? *SourceBOT* sent it, which is probably a bot, so I'll probably get no response from him
[STRIKE]b) where do I see my infractions and when/if they expire? [/STRIKE] found it
c) why is there no more *users sourceop forum rep page* under peoples' profiles as it used to?

Thanks for answer(s)

I've gotten charged back SO many fucking times on Paypal and so have many, many others. Yet, the community insists on using Paypal and all other methods are seen as "Russian scam attempts" or some bullshit. Paypal is literally the worst fucking company to exist on this earth. I called them after I lost $350 to a chargeback and I was told we favor the buyer. WHAT FUCKING COMPANY SAYS THAT THEY FAVOR ONE PARTY OVER ANOTHER? I've tried to use Bitcoin exclusively but in a month I had less than a dozen transactions so now I've had to resort to using shitty PP again. They take like 20% conversion fee when trading with people from other nations too. Bitcoin is entirely safe and decentralized and there are no fees whatsoever, yet no one wants to make the attempt to learn how to use it. I'm always told "oh, this is too complicated I don't want to attempt it at all. Also to buy them I have to put too much personal info." WELL YOU KNOW WHAT? PAYPAL HAS THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR SOCIAL AND YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS. When I got charged back, I refused to pay it and they literally went into my savings and took the money out. The company sucks and everyone who insists Paypal is the best way is retarded.

Hi !

Can we have something to really block stacking... not very fun to play for me and new players.. just scrambling automatically for exemple... (Stacking vote never work when the stacking team vote NO)... I'm not very angry with that, but it's just not fun.. know, friends just want to be with friends, i feel the same too, but seriously you always lost new players (and futur friends maybe) when u do that...

Or just block players change team in middle of the game (maybe that's possible). Or blocking the choice of team (Red or Blue), always make it random.

It's just a suggestion... ^^

But the best solution, it's players himself making an effort on this...

Thank's !

Greetings mates! There is my story i would like to post and also ask about an advice- how to fix my situation. Sth like 2 years ago i has been kinda trading not for serious stuff (just usual hats, items and so on), I had a friend is Diego (i'm sure, everyone of you knows him- this one is SR creator), he seemed to be quiet friendly and helpful at hard situations. he is actually, but one day we got a fight cause of couple of scammers in my friend list. he wanted me to remove them, but i didn't as far as they didn't something bad to me and i dont really like to remove people for no special reason. At the same moment i found out Diego is doing pretty unfair stuff (i wouldnt like to say which one, cause wouldnt be polite now), so i started to judge him about that. And a bit later i've got marked as a scammer for no real reason (i've never did scam people and so on) there is no one person who would say -"i've got a scam by her and there is a proves". Ofc he marked me as a scammer at SR, also asked his friends which is tf2outpost, tf2tp, sourceop admins and so on to mark me as a scammer. Besides of that he posted my private information at my SR profile, which isnt actually law. Thats all cause he got mad at me. But i did never something like scam people or kind of, i also tried to add him to my friend list and talk to him, to say im sorry about this, but he didnt accept me. And now i would like to ask- what to do in this situation and how is it possible to fix this? Im not really trading at all, but yesterday i found couple of nice items at mvm and would like to sell it like it should be- with middleman and all the rules, like i always did. But is it possible to check some archives, some info, sth else to make ppl sure i did nothing bad? Cause if i'm marked as a scammer for no reason, no one SR middleman will accept to make a deal with me. And tbh, i would like to get a fair decision actually, it shouldnt be like that people are "scammers" only cause Diego dont like them personally. Many thanks!

Said by numerous traders on Outpost after agreeing on a firm price. For example, last week I bought an Unusual Stovepipe for a bud and two keys. This is what I posted on his trade comments, he accepted it and invited me to trade. I put up my buds and keys, and he doesn't give the stovepipe.

2 minutes later.

"Hey, could you add a little more? Just a couple ref."

I really wanted the hat, and I had some extra ref, so I said "fuck it" and added two ref.

"Some more?"

Another ref went into the trade window.

"More."

I was almost about to tell him to fuck off and die, but I just sighed and added a craft hat.

"Ok, thanks man!"

Finally puts up the stovepipe and finishes the trade.

I was kinda tired and didn't really care at the time because I really wanted a Demo unusual. But now I've resolved to just unfriend if somebody pulls that shit again. Why the fuck would you ask for more after you've already agreed to a price? Are you really that greedy?

It gets real tiring that so many people just don't give 2 shits about what you write in your notes. I know its been said ad-nausem but damn it's just grating that people can't just offer below (on tf2op) Like I'm trying to sell items, to get metal/keys, not take on more junk. And ofcourse they always have to add you. I gotta stop what I'm doing to have you waste what little free time I do have. Then they offer me random crap I hate the oh "you can just sell it, please". Please doesn't do shit for me. Having someone type or say please aloud just pisses me off. And its always a large pile of total shit

Then there's bp.tf When I first saw it I thought it was a thing of beauty and genius. Here was a site I can see exactly how much my bag is worth, Hover over a random item and see its price and even sell on the site. I was blown the fuck away. I knew immediately the spreadsheet was done in for. Then I came across its vote for price section. Seemed innocuous at first, even noble. A place where the people could democratically vote on prices with full transparency. Then as it gained popularity, people learned to game the system. I started to see unusual prices that were on a continuous downward trajectory due to increasing supply start to inexplicably go up. Then other lil things. But the thing I personally blame bp.tf for is the soaring rise in key prices.

Yeah prices got a lil wacky during haloween but after that proofs were given of the high-ballers. On tf2op, it is VERY easy to show proofs of someone selling for a scrap or 2 above normal price. Some people do buy keys impulsively. Yet, if you put up a regular offer for keys, you do get added and sold keys. Granted, you will have to wait and get keys 1-2 at at time but I've always been able to get reasonably priced keys that would seem unwise undoable if you just surf those that are auto-bumped on tf2op. AND that's part of the problem, only donator keys are showing up on tf2op as so many of them are auto-bumped. A vast majority of those who "donate" to tf2op do as a business expanse and crowd out others selling keys. So any search is nearly entirely filled with colored names.
So with bp.tf anyone trying to increase the price can easily cherrypick "proof" and make the key price go up. I understand that moderators are suppose to be there to stop wreckless traders with obvious biases. I see them trying and give them credit for stoping some of the nonsense but still, this is truely out of control. I've mulled over several possibilities for fixing this situation. Ideally, steamrep, bp.tf and tf2op would work together to force 1 key price that can be listed on servers and on tf2op. No one would be perma banned but something like 4ref is the price unless substantial evidence to the contrary as determined by a panel of admins. People still could trade on their own for whatever price they wanted but if they wanted to post a price on tf2op or bp.tf then it'd have to be the 1 set price. Its unlikely though. Herding cats would be easier than getting admins to get behind something like this.
An inferior but realistic solution would be that only bp.tf moderators or preferably brad himself would propose key price changes. That way we don't have it where someone with literally 500 keys isn't suggesting a price increase. Moreover, it'd be nice if people with a shitstack of keys can't vote on a price increase of keys.

Oh and I also HATE the unusual effects icon on Bp.tf And even though they asked for everyone's opinion and a vast majority didn't like it its as though they just shrugged that off and pressed forward. I mean seriously, the plasma icons are bizarre as are the moon and energy ones. I mean really, a pinkish raindrop to represent purple energy?!

Tl;dr version: Don't add offering items unless asked. Bp.tf is awesome but would be better off if moderators only were allowed to suggest prices. Admins love cats and I still hate the unusal icons on bp.tf
