I have been getting this complaint a lot that people can not add me to their friends list. I would imagine that they are getting that error message that I have seen myself from time to time. Over the last week at least a dozen people have told me that they were unable to add me. I have checked and it's not a matter of my friends list being full. A Suggestion was made that maybe the blocked people in my list were occupying the available friend slots but that's not it.

Any ideas as to why this may be happening?

Have you tried telling them to block you, then unblock you? That usually fixes it when someone can't add me.
